The Funds’ Primary Care Physician (PCP) Listing encourages an ongoing relationship between a beneficiary and a primary care doctor of the beneficiary’s choice. The PCP Program is available to beneficiaries in specific geographic areas.
A Funds’ beneficiary who selects a PCP cooperating physician does not have to make copayments for services obtained from the PCP physician. The beneficiary will also have a primary care doctor who knows the beneficiary’s medical history and takes extra responsibility for coordinating the beneficiary’s medications, medical tests, and specialist care.
The PCP Program is available to Funds’ beneficiaries who reside in the following counties:
Alabama: Cullman, Walker, Jefferson, Tuscaloosa, Shelby
Pennsylvania: Allegheny, Washington, Greene, Indiana, Westmoreland, Fayette, Cambria, Somerset
West Virginia: Monongalia, Marion, Harrison
